The Carmel Woman’s Club (CWC) is proud of our 99 years of philanthropy and fellowship! The Club was established in 1925 with a mission of promoting charitable giving, mutual help, intellectual advancement, social enjoyment and welfare of the community.
Philanthropy is still a very large focus of CWC. Each year the CWC provides grants to a wide interest of local non-profits. In 2023 we donated to Meals on Wheels, Blind & Visually Impaired Center, Carl Cherry Center for the Arts, The Carmel Foundation, Carmel Valley Angel Project, Carmel Youth Center, CASA of Monterey County, Gathering for Women, Girls, Inc., Kernes Adaptive Aquatics, Monterey Sober Living for Women, Pacific Rep Theater and The Salvation Army.
In 2010 the Carmel Woman’s Club established a scholarship program for philanthropic minded women returning to college to improve their lives, the lives of their family and the benefit of our community. In 2023 we are supporting ten women with a scholarship. To date we have awarded over $72,900 in scholarship funds to women dedicated to making a difference. Programs, luncheons and fundraisers provide an opportunity to enjoy stimulating, entertaining and educational programs. Following our programs we offer a wonderful reception to visit with treasured friends and have the opportunity to meet new friends to expand our community awareness and positive impact.
We look forward to seeing you soon at the Carmel Woman’s Club!!
