The Carmel-by-the-Sea Police Officers' Association Serves The City of Carmel And Its Members With Honor and Pride

The men and women of the Carmel-by-the-Sea Police Department have been proudly serving this great community since 1916. The CPOA was founded in 1961 and has been professionally representing its members and the community we serve ever since its inception. In addition to our main goal of member representation and support, the CPOA proudly partners with members of the community. We provide the highest quality of service through positive interactions, emphasizing the highest degree of cooperation, professionalism and ethical behavior. The Carmel-by-the-Sea Police Department's community policing approach helps neighborhoods remain involved; emphasizing the importance of a partnership between the community and the members of our Association. The CPOA is active in our community with many of our members volunteering for various local organizations.
