Transform your asana practice from a physical routine, to an exploration of consciousness. Through unlocking dormant portion of your physical being, and beginning what I refer to as the dialogue of the body, allow a new heightened state of awareness to rehabilitate your structural imbalances and create new pathways in the brain.
Day two of The Art of Asana will continue with analyzing the core standing postures, along with backbends, balancing postures, and inversions. The fundamental actions in grounding and weight distribution from Day 1 will be shown in connection to linked asanas, teaching the body how to properly function in less assemble postures such as Urdhva Dhanurasana (upward facing bow) and Vrkshasana (handstand). Though Day 2 can be taken independently, it is recommended for students to attend the pair of workshops or Day 1, as the two dates build on one another. Both workshops are designed for all levels from beginners to seasoned practitioners.
