SMUIN Contemporary Ballet Workshop (Audition)
Smuin Contemporary Ballet, a celebrated San Francisco-based company, is performing at the Sunset Center on June 7 & 8—and you could be part of the magic! Up to 16 local dancers age 11+ (including adults!) will be invited to perform alongside Smuin in this thrilling opportunity.
CASTING, REHEARSALS & PERFORMANCES
Carmel Dance Festival is leading the casting and rehearsal process for intergenerational performers who will bring Trey McIntyre’s "Wild Sweet Love" to life on stage.
~ Workshop: Saturday, May 17 | 10:30 AM–1:30 PM
~ Dress Rehearsal: Saturday, June 7 | Time TBD
~ Performance One: Saturday, June 7 | 7:30 PM
~ Performance Two: Sunday, June 8 | 2:00 PM
To support dancers between the workshop and performances, we will record the rehearsal and provide a video so community dancers can practice on their own before the Sunset Center shows.
No complicated choreography—just simple rhythmic patterns and running. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or simply love to move, this is your chance to perform with Smuin Ballet in a fun, welcoming, and inspiring environment. Dancers age 11+ are encouraged to attend. Come dance with us!
