Please come join Madregalia!! for their New Year's concert featuring a variety of works from the Renaissance and early Baroque at All Saints' Episcopal Church, in Carmel. Members of the Pastyme Consort will be featured as well on violins, viols, shawm, dulcian, and recorders. A trio of sackbuts (early trombones) will be led by Sue Mudge, and, as a special treat, Greg Smith will enliven the concert on natural trumpet.
The program will consist of a variety of vocal and instrumental works for Christmas and the new year including major works by Giovanni Gabrieli and Michael Praetorius.
This continued celebration of 20 years of Madregalia!! will also be held tomorrow, Saturday, January 11, at 2:30 pm at All Saints', located on Dolores at Ninth. We hope to see you at either program or both!
