BirchBark announces the 2024 Fall in Love Gala, to be held on October 9, 2024, at the picturesque Folktale Winery in Carmel, CA. This enchanting evening will bring together animal lovers and supporters to celebrate and raise funds for BirchBark's mission to protect the human-animal bond through financial assistance, grief support, and education.
The 2024 Fall in Love Gala will honor Barbara De Groodt, owner of From the Heart Dog Training in Salinas, California. With a career spanning over 60 years, Barbara is renowned for her compassionate and effective animal training methods. Her dedication has helped countless pet owners develop strong, positive relationships with their animals. Barbara’s remarkable contributions to the field have earned her induction into the International Association of Canine Professionals International Hall of Fame and the prestigious Trainer of the Year title at Westminster.
