About CASI
CASI advances education by bringing talented speakers to schools and community groups. We bring scientists, artists, physicians, historians, engineers, economists, authors, and accomplished entrepreneurs to your venue and periodically host public and private member-only events.
Our topics span California art history, the arts, atmospheric physics, marine biology, film-making, energy, and water supply. Our speakers present practical depth and have created and led some of the most successful companies and non-profits in California. They include top US scientists and economists; eminent artists, sculptors, filmmakers, Olympic Medalists, accomplished CEOs, advisors to the US President and Congress and have engaged with audiences around the world.
CASI was formed when a group of 67 artists, scientists, entrepreneurs, CEOs and architects came together and realized that we have an urgent need to inspire youth and promote dialog on issues of the day throughout our adult communities. Our society craves facts and ideas, but also debate, on topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Preserving Central Coast Art Heritage, U.S. Energy Policy, Wildfires, Water Policy, Pension Underfunding, and Film-making.
