The California Arts and Sciences Institute (CASI) presents internationally noted architect Mary Ann Schicketanz to elucidate methodologies for achieving environmentally favorable outcomes from residential design. The scope of this event addresses new home design as well as remodeling, and includes consideration of site layout, building skin, roof, as well as interior features. Mary Ann Schicketanz is the principal of Schicketanz Studios, based in Carmel, California and Bangladore, India. Her firm has three decades of design emphasizing concepts of minimum environmental impact and healthy living environments.
