The Carmel Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), in collaboration with Carmel Police Department, invites residents of the Monterey Peninsula to Carmel Prepares—a free, informative event focused on Winter Storm and Earthquake Preparedness.
The tragic storms we witnessed in the southeast and most recent fires in the northeast is a stark reminder that natural disasters can strike anytime and anywhere.
Attendees will receive expert guidance from Carmel PD, the Department of Emergency Management, the National Weather Service, Monterey Fire, CALFIRE, CERT, and more. Highlights include informative presentations, free refreshments, and an exciting raffle featuring disaster kits and other preparedness items.
This event marks the third Carmel Prepares event of the year, designed to build resilience and readiness within the community. All are welcome, and participation is encouraged for anyone looking to stay informed and safe this season.
