Effective 1/1/2021 – CFRA, which previously applied to employers with 50+ employees, now applies to ALL EMPLOYERS with 5+ employees, meaning BIG changes for both 5-49 employers and 50+ employers!
Employers with 5+ employees are now required to provide up to 12 weeks of protected unpaid CFRA leave within a 12-month period and continued paid health insurance premiums.
